3D Fetal Scan

Went for my O&G follow-up appt and was scanned - as usual. This time it's a 3D scan. Really detailed - my gynae even commented that baby has a sharp nose! The pics that were scanned were copied into a CD for us.

This is another scan - 2D - I think this shows the baby's stomach. Anyway, she's growing normally and placenta is in a good position. Next check-up on 27th March.

Confirmed baby's Chinese name : Tjia Ern. Still mulling over Marissa, Naomi, Nadya, Angelica or Elisabeth..... any suggestions or comments?

Year of the Golden Rat

Happy Chinese New Year! It's the lunar year of the golden rat this time round. Evan running around Mid Valley Megamall on CNY 2nd day just before we head back to my hometown in Segamat for the CNY celebrations. We had reunion dinner with family & relatives from Larry's side in KL/PJ.











My mom prepared her own special version of Yee Sang - which includes arrowroot chips and strawberry jam.... she forgot the pomelo though. However the mix of ingredients were very tasty and better than any of the commercial yee sang which I've tasted. Evan was good - he enjoyed playing with his grandparents and he also learnt to eat rice throughout our 3 day stay in Segamat.










My dad & Evan - dressed-up in Chinese traditional clothes and hat! We found a basketball stand and ball at Giant Segamat for RM29.90. Evan had so much fun playing with it. All in all it was a fun and relaxing time out of the city!
