Double 3 celebration

15th April 2008 : Larry is another year older : 33 years old to be exact. He proposed to try out dinner at Tony Roma's. So off the three of us went to Mid Valley Megamall (which is also Evan's favourite haunt). Pictured here was what we ordered. A Kids Meal comes free with any purchase of one adult entree. Promotion valid from Mon-Wed only. Larry ordered a Roma Burger which has minced beef, fried onion rings, lettuce/tomato and a rich flavourful sauce plus a generous serving of fries (RM20.90). I chose a Strawberry milkshake (RM9.90). Since the Kids Meal comes free, I decided on the Fish & Chips which was a huge portion for a kid! The Kids Meal also comes with a vegetable dip as appetizer and an ice cream for dessert, total value RM15.90. They even gave us a bread roll complimentary. The food was great and tasty.

Evan was also given some crayons and an activity sheet to occupy him while we ate but he was more interested in watching Larry Boy on the portable DVD player. Evan only nibbled on 2 french fries, drank a little of the milkshake but feasted on the ice cream (He had his porridge for dinner at home already). All in all we paid about RM38 for our meal which was a great deal as we were so full after that! Will certainly come back for more. Service was also excellent. We were given warm towels after our meals - which certainly came in handy to wipe the sticky ice cream off Evan's mouth. After dinner, we went to Secret Recipe to buy some cheesecake.

Back home, Larry blew the candle on his cake (4 slices of cheesecake in 4 flavours - new york cheese, sugar-free choc, cheese choc and white choc macadamia). Also photographed in the pic is Evan's birthday card for Larry - filled with crayon scribbling (worms - according to Evan as he scribbled in the card). I am really thankful to God for Larry who has been a pillar of strength and support for me, plus being a great father to Evan. May God continue to bless Larry in every way!
